Our Story

Sie's Saloon has been a dream of mine for the past several years. It had always crossed my mind how cool and unique a travelling bar would be, especially in the Okanagan with all the beautiful venues and outdoor spaces. After attending a few weddings and noticing there really is a need out there for travelling bartenders as well as a designated space for a bar, especially a bar you could just drive in and drive out without the large pack job, I just knew this was something I had to do. So when I seen that 1973 beat down horse trailer on market place I decided it was finally time to chase after that dream and create Sie's Saloon.

My background in art and interior design really helped piece this trailer together. My Hubby, Dad and brother really pulled threw helping me limp this horse trailer home, after a few doors falling off and a couple flat tires I just knew this was going to be one of the most rewarding projects yet! As the job ended up being bigger than anticipated, including building a whole new frame and taking it down pretty much to the ground building it back up would not have been possible without my family's help. Letting their creative brains "cook" and coming up with unique solutions was awesome to witness. Kyler, my brother welded up a whole new frame in just a few days, while my dad, aka Ol Greg and I worked on putting the walls back together one by one. Everything in Sie's Saloon was rebuilt by my family and I, it really just shows the passion and drive I have to see Sie's Saloon thrive.

I want to give a huge thank you to my friends and family for all the help whether you were grinding for hours to complete tasks on Sie's Saloon or indirectly by showing your support and always checking in to see where our progress was. As well as a thank you to the bartending staff for being such an amazing team and creating an awesome work atmosphere! All our drink menu boards, logo, website and design was created by myself, over at Sie Some Art. Everything will be custom made to match each venue/ event or to your unique vision! Decoration in Sies Saloon will be tailored to your specifications as well giving every experience a unique custom touch.

Meet The Team

Sierra

Owner, Bartender & Artist

The owner and creator behind Sie's Saloon and Sie Some Art. My background in customer service and art come together to create a certain level of professionalism and creative freedom. Many years of working customer service have helped me discover how much I enjoy working with people, if I'm not serving cocktails out of Sie's Saloon you can find me serving more beverages as a flight attendant in the skies. When I'm not working you will catch my Hubby Keaton & I with our furry friend Willow usually in the mountains whether it be boarding, biking, sledding, camping or everything all at once! When we're at home you can find me drawing and fulfilling art inquiries or sampling Sie's Saloons custom cocktails with my besties and family. Catch me behind the bar at your next event!

Tara

Lead bartender & Cocktail Specialist

Tara is our energetic lead bartender and cocktail specialist! She is a huge asset behind Sie's Saloon due to her knowledge of all things beer, wine and spirits! With a background in bartending as well as business and marketing Tara is a powerhouse of knowledge and customer service. She shared many years at local breweries and wineries, which included becoming a winemaker and a brew master as well as starting her own marketing business over at To a T marketing! When Tara isn't making her besties special cocktails at girls night you can find her beating her running score with her pooch Miles. She also loves to spend her time outside by the lake or boarding up in the mountains. Book with us to try out Tara's delicious homemade simple syrup infused cocktails!

Special thanks to my family, my father Ol Greg, brother Kyler, mother Jody, brother Colton and hubby Keaton. A special appreciation to my dad who helped me complete every task, day and night in rain, snow and sunshine Ol Greg was there grinding and thinking of ways to make Sie's Saloon unique and safe. Though he complained about the mess I made in his yard with this project he never gave up or questioned my vision.

Thanks to the friends for all the suggestions along the way. The friends who had solutions to things we didn't even know we needed. The Friends who showed support and the friends who already pre arranged bookings for their weddings before Sie's Saloon was even close to complete. My parents in law for sending the best inspiration and always giving new ideas on creating Sie's Saloon.
